Venting Sesh

Abortion.

Every time I think about the recent abortion discussion and unfortunate laws being passed, I immediately think back to the day I received my MRI results. I remember sitting by myself, reading through a bunch of shit that made no sense to me, feeling anxious. After I started researching all of the terms in my results and started piecing everything together, it became clear that I would probably experience fertility difficulties. It immediately crushed me. Even writing this brings tears to my eyes because all I ever wanted was to be a mom. I grew up around so many strong women. Everything I did in life was to ensure by the time I have a family, we’d be straight.

Men cannot reproduce. Sure, we need their help to conceive, but a man’s body is not equipped to bring life onto this earth. So it’s confusing as to why so many men have been pushing to pass the Heartbeat law. It’s even worse when you realize there are also some women who are supporters of this bill. Men should not have a voice in any situation that pertains to a woman’s body. You can’t tell me exactly what is happening with my body, you can barely handle hearing certain feminine words. Worst of all, all of these clueless men came from a woman. Shame.
